Andrew Sario

Andrew Sario has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Andrew currently works at Transurban as a Principal Architect and Engineer, leading the technology, engineering, and architecture efforts to deliver the venture's technical vision. Prior to this role, Andrew worked as a Senior Intelligent Transport Systems Engineer at Transurban, where they ensured the safety and value of IT and OT systems and provided subject matter expertise.

Apart from their time at Transurban, Andrew also has experience as a Creator at Engineering IRL, a Principal Developer at SarioDev, and a Director at Cloudmate Networks, which they co-founded. At Cloudmate Networks, Andrew was responsible for various aspects of the business, including partnerships, web development, marketing, sales, and customer service.

Andrew's earlier experience includes roles at Siemens, where they held positions such as Lead Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, Lead IT/OT Systems Engineer, Corporate System Administrator, Service Engineer, Project Engineer, and Lead Software Engineer. In these roles, they demonstrated expertise in engineering leadership, technical project management, OT cyber security audits, vulnerability assessments, and HMI development.

Before entering the engineering field, Andrew gained experience as a Sales Assistant at Dick Smith Electronics and an Engineering Intern at All-Systems Electronics.

Andrew Sario completed their education starting in 2007 with a Diploma in Engineering Practice and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in ICT Engineering (Computer Systems), both from the University of Technology Sydney. Andrew pursued these degrees until 2013. Later, in 2021 and 2022, Andrew attended the Melbourne Institute of Technology where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security and Networking.

In addition to their formal education, Andrew has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they completed the "Shane Snow on Storytelling" certification from LinkedIn. In 2023, they acquired the following certifications: "Chief Technology Officer Career Guide," "Delegating Tasks," "How to Think Strategically," and "Cert Prep: Unity Certified Associate Game Developer Scripting with C#," all from LinkedIn.
