Deborah Cole

Deborah Cole is a seasoned communications professional with significant experience in media and external affairs. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Media and Communications at Transurban since October 2023, Deborah previously held the role of Media and External Affairs Manager at Teach For Australia from May 2020 to September 2023. Deborah has contributed to various organizations, including serving as an Executive Committee Member at the Rural Press Club of Victoria and working in key positions for the Office for Leader of The Nationals in Victoria, where responsibilities included Chief of Staff and Senior Adviser roles. Additionally, Deborah has extensive experience in media advisory positions, having worked as a Senior Media Adviser for government officials and starting a career as a journalist for The Advocate Newspaper. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government as well as Journalism and Communications from the University of Tasmania.
