Marcus Ly

Marcus Ly has extensive work experience in the accounting and finance industry. Marcus started their career as a Team Member at Officeworks in 2014, where they worked until 2016. Marcus then joined Grant Thornton Australia as an Audit Associate in 2017 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2019. In 2021, Marcus joined Transurban as a Financial Accountant, and they quickly progressed to the role of Senior Accountant in the Group & Treasury department. Currently, Marcus holds the position of Accounting Lead - Group & Treasury at Transurban.

Marcus Ly completed their education with a Graduate Diploma from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, which they attended from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended the University of Melbourne from 2014 to 2016, where they earned their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Marcus completed their high school education at Melbourne High School from 2010 to 2013, receiving a Victorian Certificate of Education.
