Romesh Walallawita

Romesh Walallawita is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital product ownership and consulting, currently serving as Senior Digital Product Owner at Transurban since June 2022. Prior to this role, Romesh spent over a decade at NAB, where significant contributions included acting as Senior Consultant Product Owner for Group Investigations and Fraud, focusing on fraud reduction strategies and stakeholder engagement. Notable achievements include introducing NAB's first payslip fraud verification tool, which generated over $1M in annual fraud prevention benefits, and leading the delivery of the New Payment Platform for the NAB Business banking channel. Romesh also played a pivotal role in transforming the NAB Connect customer onboarding process to a digital format, enhancing efficiency and user experience.
