Sebastian Gomez

Sebastian Gomez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Sebastian started their career at FIDAE - FERIA INTERNACIONAL DEL AIRE Y DEL ESPACIO as a Liaison Officer from February 2006 to June 2006. Sebastian then joined the Fuerza Aérea de Chile, where they held several positions including IT Support Manager from March 2009 to March 2013, Air Operations Officer - (Air Battle Manager) from October 2008 to July 2014, and Task Control Manager from March 2013 to July 2014.

In 2015, Sebastian joined Transurban as an intern for a Customer Experience Project through Digital Platform from December 2015 to February 2016. In the same year, they also worked as an MBIS Candidate at Monash University from February 2015 to February 2017.

Sebastian's most recent role has been with Transurban, where they have progressed from an ITS Engineer from April 2016 to June 2021, to a Senior ITS Engineer from June 2021 to July 2023, and currently as a Lead ITS Engineer starting from July 2023. In these roles, they have contributed to the development of engineering specifications, designs, and solutions for asset maintenance, lifecycle planning, and project support. Sebastian has also provided leadership within the ITS Engineering team and driven the enhancement of systems engineering practices and risk management at Transurban.

Sebastian Gomez has a diverse education history spanning from 1989 to 2016. Sebastian completed their Enseñanza Media at Wenlock School in an unspecified field of study. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) at Escuela de Aviación Fuerza Aérea de Chile, specializing in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. In 2004, they also obtained an Air Force Officer degree from the same institution, focusing on Military and Strategic Leadership.

Throughout their career, Sebastian Gomez pursued various certifications to enhance their skills. In 2010, they obtained a Cisco Certificate Network Associate from CISCO Academy FACH, with a focus on Network and System Administration. Sebastian also completed Oracle Workshop I and II at Businessmind Chile, specializing in Database Administration. Additionally, in 2011, they attended the Linux Center and completed Linux Server I and II, gaining expertise in Server Administration. Sebastian Gomez further expanded their knowledge in 2013 by earning a Cisco Certificate Associate Network Security from Aeronautical Polytechnic Academy, focusing on Network.

In 2015, Sebastian Gomez pursued a Master's Degree in Business Information System from Monash University. Moreover, they obtained their ITIL Foundations certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2015.
