Executive VP - Technology at TRANSVALOR

Etienne Perchat has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and development. Etienne is currently working as the Executive VP - Technology at TRANSVALOR, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Directeur du Développement at TRANSVALOR from December 2013 to April 2022, where they supervised a team of 15-20 developers and was responsible for the development and maintenance of various software products. In addition, they oversaw R&D projects and defined scientific and technical directions.

Before joining TRANSVALOR, Etienne Perchat worked as the Responsable du service Analyse Numérique & Calcul scientifique at TRANSVALOR from September 2010 to December 2013. In this role, they led a team of 3 researchers/developers and was involved in the development and maintenance of solvers. Etienne also implemented advanced techniques in adaptive and anisotropic remeshing and established a continuous integration system based on CMake and Jenkins.

Etienne Perchat's earlier experience includes working as an Ingénieur en développement scientifique at TRANSVALOR from October 2002 to September 2010. In this position, they primarily worked on the 3D solver of the FORGE software, focusing on development, technical expertise, and support. Etienne also contributed to R&D projects and parallelized algorithms, meshing, remeshing, and parallel partitioning.

Before joining TRANSVALOR, Etienne Perchat held a Post Doctoral Position at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from October 2000 to September 2002. Etienne also worked as a Post doctorant at Ecoles des Mines d'Albi Carmaux from March 2000 to September 2000, where they developed a non-linear elasticity calculation code in C and taught fluid mechanics.

Etienne Perchat's earliest work experience was as a Professeur de mathématiques at Ecole Francaise de Lagos from August 1994 to July 1996.

Etienne Perchat pursued their education from 1997 to 2000 at Mines Paris, where they obtained a Doctorat degree in Science et Génie des Matériaux.
