Amarkant Mishra

Amarkant Mishra has extensive experience in the logistics and import-export sectors, currently serving as the Director of Strategic Accounts at Transys Global Forwarding since April 2017. Prior to this role, Mishra held the position of General Manager for Imports, Exports, and Indirect Materials at Mahindra & Mahindra from July 2001 to March 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing the import of components for 13 plants and managing non-commercial exports. Mishra began a career at Eaton Corporation (formerly Vickers) in November 1979, culminating in the role of Head of Imports in the Marketing Services Department, where a focus was placed on procurement, customs issues, and dealer service management. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Political Science and Economics from Patna University, completed in 1974.
