Lori Labrum

Lori Labrum has a strong background in transportation and engineering with over 30 years of experience. Lori is currently working as the West Transit Market/Bus-Rapid Transit Leader at TranSystems since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Executive/Global BRT Leader at AECOM in Houston, Texas from November 2022 to March 2023. Lori held various positions at AECOM, including Gulf Southwest Region Multi-Modal Department Manager, Southwest Area - Transit/Traffic/Planning Department Manager, Transportation Project Manager, and US West Region Transit-Rail Division Manager. Before AECOM, they worked at J-U-B Engineers, Inc. as the Utah Transportation Manager and Transportation Project Manager from 2012 to 2014. Lori also had experience at David Evans and Associates, Inc., where they worked as a Transportation Project Manager from 2007 to 2009, and at Peak Hour Engineering as the Owner/Transportation Project Manager from 2000 to 2007. Lori started their career as a Transportation Engineer at David Evans and Associates, Inc. in 1997 and later worked as a Traffic Engineer at Fehr & Peers from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they served as a Project Manager at the Utah Department of Transportation from 1992 to 1995. Lori began their career as a Civil Engineer at the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1989.

Lori Labrum obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah, completing their studies between 1985 and 1989. In addition, they have earned certifications as a Professional Engineer from the states of Utah, Arizona, and Idaho, as well as a certification as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer from ITE.
