VP Of Product And Marketing at Tranter

Robin Steininger has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. They started their career as a Design Engineer at Trimble Navigation in 1999, where they conducted conceptual research, designed and implemented new level sensors for pipe laser level products. In 2004, they joined the University of Dayton as a DAGSI Fellow, focusing on waste heat recovery solutions for aircraft and developing energy harvesting skin designs. Robin then moved to II-VI Marlow in 2007, initially working as an Engineer in Product and Process R&D before becoming a Manager in the same department. Their responsibilities involved technical staff management and research and development in product and process improvement. In 2015, Robin joined Tranter as the Director of Product Development, where they led global R&D teams and prioritized product development projects. They gradually moved up the ranks, becoming the Global Director of Product Development in 2018 and the VP of Product in 2021. Currently, Robin is the VP of Product and Marketing at Tranter, overseeing strategic market planning, aligning product portfolios and pricing strategies, and providing direction for product technical development and pricing.

Robin Steininger obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Purdue University Daniels School of Business, which was earned between 2020 and 2022. In addition, they hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton, an MSME (Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering) from Wright State University, and a BS (Bachelor of Science) in Mechanical Engineering, also from Wright State University. Furthermore, they obtained a certification called Pragmatic Marketing Certified - Level III from Pragmatic Marketing in June 2016.
