Miquel Lopez-Miralpeix, PMP

Miquel Lopez-Miralpeix, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Miquel is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Tranxfer, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Professor at UPC School on Big Data and its deployment in companies, starting in 2013.

At Oracle, Miquel held various positions over the years. From June 2021 to February 2023, they managed the EMEA Modern Data Warehousing, Analytics & Data Science Implementation Team for Oracle Cloud Lift Services. Before that, they served as the Cloud Tech team leader from June 2020 to June 2021, and as the Iberia Accelerate Autonomous Practice Leader from June 2019 to June 2020. Miquel also worked as an Enterprise Architect from July 2016 to June 2019, and as the Barcelona BigData Competence Center Leader from September 2014 to June 2019. Their tenure at Oracle also included the role of Consulting Technical Manager from November 2013 to July 2016.

Between 2010 and 2013, Miquel was the Operations Director (COO) at Bismart, Business Intelligence Specialist Services. Prior to that, they worked at Oracle as the SOA Managing Principal from June 2006 to October 2010. In this role, they were responsible for project presales and organization, and served as a mentor to several individuals.

Earlier in their career, Miquel worked as a Project Manager at Nextret from March 2005 to June 2006, and as a Project Manager & Partner at same Sistemes Informàtics from August 1996 to March 2005.

Miquel Lopez-Miralpeix, PMP obtained a Diplomatura in Empresarials (Economics) from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, which they pursued from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Engineer degree in Information Technologies from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Miquel holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, Miquel has additional certifications including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2020 Certified Associate, which they obtained in August 2020, SOA Architect Certified Expert, obtained in July 2010, and Oracle Certified Database Operator (OCP), obtained in November 2001.
