Shilen Sagunan

Shilen Sagunan is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and consulting. As the Chief Executive of SS Consulting since 2015, Shilen founded a global advisory firm that enhances the scalability and success of IT SMEs through expertise in strategy, processes, and technology. In addition, Shilen serves as Chairman of Malabar Innovation Zone (MiZone) and Malabar Angels, focusing on fostering startup entrepreneurship in the Malabar region of Kerala through a nonprofit entrepreneurial ecosystem supported by the Government of Kerala. Prior career roles include Managing Director at Nielsen Audio, where Shilen led software development initiatives, and a range of positions at Arbitron Inc and Ceridian India, including Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Designer. Beginning a career as an Engineering Scientist at the Indian Space Research Organization, Shilen contributed to advanced space transportation systems. Educational qualifications include an MS in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
