Chris Hunt has held various positions in the IT field since 2004. In 2004, they were a Home and Commercial Alarm Technician at Pinnacle Security Solutions, where they were in charge of installation and troubleshooting of alarm systems. In 2006, they were a Consultant and Partner at DOTNET II, LLC, where they implemented and supported technical solutions for clients. In 2007, they were a Consultant and Business Owner at Abletechs Inc, where they guided customers into product choices based on their business needs analysis. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Senior Systems Administrator at Catalyst Computer Technologies, where they were responsible for 100% service delivery uptime for key services and architecting for security by policy creation and internal auditing practices. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Director of IT at Lutrum LLC, where they were in charge of service support delivery and verifying that customer's service level agreements were being met or exceeded. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have been the Service Operations Director and Technical Operations Manager at Trapp Technology.

Chris Hunt attended Mountain View from 1996 to 1999, but did not receive a degree. In April 2014, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft.
