Chris Jones

Chris Jones is an experienced operations executive currently serving as Vice President of Operations, Driver Services and Safety at Trappers Transport Ltd since March 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing key departments and strategy. Previously, Chris held the position of President & CEO at Winnipeg Motor Express, leading a successful restructuring that resulted in significant financial improvements and a notable reduction in driver turnover and maintenance costs. Chris has also contributed as a CEO Member at MacKay CEO Forums, Director of Operations at Big Freight Systems Inc., and in various roles at Trans X, where responsibilities ranged from managing linehaul operations to implementing lean initiatives. Chris's educational background includes degrees in Marketing Administration from RRC Polytech, Managerial Communications from the University of Manitoba, and a Lean Green Belt Champion certification.
