Murat Aksel has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Murat has held various leadership roles in renowned companies such as TRATON Group, MAN Truck & Bus SE, Volkswagen AG, BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC, BMW Group, General Motors, and Opel. Throughout their career, they have served as a Chief Purchasing Officer, Member of the Management Board, Senior Vice President, and Executive Director. Aksel's expertise lies in purchasing, procurement, and supplier management, and they have made significant contributions to the organizations they have worked for.

Murat Aksel obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Management from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, completing their studies between 1991 and 1997.
