Nikolaos Michalas

Nikolaos Michalas is a logistics expert with extensive experience in outbound and inbound logistics within the heavy-duty vehicle manufacturing sector. Currently, Nikolaos serves as Head of Outbound Logistics at TRATON GROUP, overseeing the global logistics operations for all group brands. Previous roles include Vice President at Scania Group, where responsibilities encompassed worldwide outbound logistics and export, and Vice President at MAN Truck & Bus AG, focusing on logistics planning and management. Nikolaos has also contributed to the logistics digitization initiatives at RIO | The Logistics Flow and has a solid academic foundation with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, supplemented by a seminar in Business Administration from the University of Oxford.
