David West

David is a Managing Director at Traub Capital, where he focuses on generating new investment opportunities, executing transactions and portfolio company oversight.

David has more than ten years of experience operating and investing in the consumer sector, most recently with Brynwood Partners, where he was a Principal and a member of the Board of Directors of Great Kitchens Food Company.

Prior to joining Brynwood Partners, David led an investor group to acquire, operate and build LesserEvil Snack Company, a lifestyle food brand. David began his career in the Financial Institutions Group at BlackRock.

David is involved with several non-profit organizations, including Technoserve, where he is a member of the Global Advisory Council and for which he volunteered for nine months on a Gates Foundation funded coffee initiative in East Africa. David is also a member of the Board of Directors of Pivot Ministries and a member of the Associate Board for Waterside School in Stamford, CT.

David holds a B.S. with honors in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
