Sophie Bouwman

Sophie Bouwman serves as the algemeen directeur and voorzitter of the Raad van Bestuur at Trauma Centrum Nederland since September 2018, where also holds a position on the board. As the owner and directeur zorg of Orthopedagogisch Adviesbureau Sophie Bouwman from November 2015 to December 2023, Sophie has extensive experience in various leadership roles in healthcare, including interim positions with the Gemeente Amsterdam and as hoofdbehandelaar at De Hartekamp Groep. Educational qualifications include a degree in Orthopedagogiek from the University of Groningen and postmaster qualifications in diagnostics and treatment, as well as EMDR therapy for children and youth.
