Mike Lavalley Aia

Mike LaValley AIA, LEED AP is an accomplished architect and writer with a diverse professional background. As the founder of Mike LaValley since January 2020, Mike focuses on creative life, wellness, burnout, and lifelong learning through weekly insights aimed at personal development. In addition to this role, Mike serves as an associate architect at Trautman Associates and has been an influencer for Architizer since November 2016, contributing to discussions on professional life and 3D software. Previous experiences include co-hosting the Unpacking Design podcast, founding the Evolving Architect blog, and managing projects at Young + Wright Architectural and CJS Architects. Mike's academic foundation includes a B.Arch, Magna Cum Laude from the School of Architecture at Syracuse University and early educational achievements at Hamburg Central High School.
