Manager, International Markets at Travel Alberta

Rhonda Hughes is an accomplished tourism professional with extensive experience in international markets and business development. Currently serving as the Manager of International Markets at Travel Alberta since March 2014, Rhonda oversees tourism promotion in the UK, Germany, Japan, and South Korea. Previous roles include Business Development Manager and Manager of RTO Development at Travel Alberta, where responsibilities encompassed strategic tourism initiatives and enhancing Alberta's market presence. Rhonda has also held positions as Manager of Travel Trade at Tourism Calgary and Senior Sales Manager at Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Tourism from the University of Calgary, a Certificate in Strategic Management from Mount Royal University, and ongoing leadership training at the University of Calgary's Continuing Education program. Additionally, Rhonda serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Inbound Tourism Association Asia Pacific.
