Heather McIntyre

Heather McIntyre has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Heather is currently the Director of Technology & Finance at Travel Experts, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for managing technology processes, handling H/R needs, corporate and financial reporting, marketing database management, assisting with new agent training, and overseeing the accounting department. Heather is also a member of Virtuoso's Technology Committee. Prior to this, Heather worked as the Manager of Technology & Communications at Travel Experts, Inc., where they had similar responsibilities.

Before joining Travel Experts, Inc., Heather worked as an Accounting Assistant at Johnson Travel Corporation from 1998 to 2000. Heather also served as a New Accounts Representative at Bank of the West from 1995 to 1998 and as a Customer Service Representative at Union Bank from 1992 to 1994. Heather's early career includes a role as a team member at Tomorrowland Foods in Disneyland Resort from 1989 to 1991.

Heather McIntyre began their education in 1991 at California State University, Fullerton where they studied Psychology and Political Science until 1994. Heather then attended Sonoma State University from 1994 to 1996 and obtained a BA in Political Science. In 2008, Heather enrolled at East Carolina University - College of Business, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2017.

In addition, Heather has obtained two certifications. In 1999, they became a Certified Travel Associate from The Travel Institute. In 2010, they obtained the Certified ARC Specialist designation from Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC).
