Cecily Mullen

Cecily Mullen has a diverse work experience. Cecily began their career in 2010 as Co-Founder and General Manager of WUVA News. In 2011, they were an intern at Red Light Management and a Development Intern for the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Virginia. Cecily also worked as an Operations Manager for Movable Type: Undergraduate Media Studies Journal and a Tasting Room Associate for Jefferson Vineyards. In 2012, they were an Associate Business Analyst for Brightspot. In 2014, they worked as a UX/UI Designer and Content Associate for Shift7 Digital (formerly Siteworx, LLC). From 2018-2021, they worked as a Senior UX Specialist, Visual Design and UX Specialist, Visual Design for Limina.co. Finally, since 2022 they have been a Senior Product Designer at TravelBank.

Cecily Mullen began their educational career at Loudoun Valley High School from 2004 to 2008. Cecily then attended the University of Virginia from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies (Media Policy and Ethics Concentration) and Anthropology. In 2015, they attended General Assembly to receive a Visual Design certification. Cecily also attended Designlab in 2016 to gain knowledge in Typography.
