Heather Masterson

Heather Masterson has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, holding various leadership roles. Heather served as the President and CEO of Travelers Canada from 2016 to the present. Prior to that, they were the President and CEO of Totten Insurance Group Inc. from 2012 to 2015. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as the EVP and Partner, Chief Marketing Officer, Risk Management and Int'l Client Services at HUB International HKMB Limited/ HUB International Ontario. Heather also held positions in AIG, where they were the Vice President of AIG WorldSource Canada and the AVP of National Accounts, Sales and Distribution. Additionally, they worked at Colonial Fire and General Insurance Company as the Director of Commercial Lines and at AIG as a Specialty Lines Casualty Underwriter. Heather began their career at Continental/Lombard Insurance as an Underwriting Trainee and was later promoted to Underwriter.

Heather Masterson attended the Dalhousie University from 1987 to 1990, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree, including the Foundation Year Program at the University of King's College. From 1991 to 1992, they studied at the Memorial University of Newfoundland and obtained an Honours Bachelor of Education degree. Later, from 1993 to 1996, they pursued further education at the Insurance Institute of Canada, earning CIP and FCIP Designations in Business Management.
