Alan Schnitze

Alan Schnitzer began their work experience in 1991 as an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Alan went on to become a Partner at the same company in 2000, where they worked until 2007. In 2007, they joined Travelers as Vice Chairman, a position they held until 2015. From 2015 until the present, Schnitzer has served as both Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Travelers.

Alan Schnitzer attended The Wharton School from 1984-1988, where they obtained a BSE degree in Accounting and Finance. Alan then pursued further education at Columbia Law School from 1988-1991, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree. Prior to their time at The Wharton School and Columbia Law School, they also attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1984-1988, where they obtained another BSE degree in Accounting and Finance. It is not specified if they obtained any further degrees at the University of Pennsylvania.
