Jim Liston

Jim Liston currently serves as the CEO of Travelers Insurance Designated Activity Company and Chief Actuary for Europe at Travelers Europe, a position held since December 2010. In these roles, Jim oversees a subsidiary that collaborates with Travelers operations throughout Europe. Prior to this, Jim was the Chief Actuary and Vice President, managing actuarial teams in a Lloyd's Syndicate and the UK/Ireland Insurance Company, focusing on Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics. From June 2002 to November 2010, Jim was the Chief Actuary at Allianz Ireland, responsible for both Commercial and Personal Lines General Insurance. Earlier career experience includes working as an Actuarial Consultant at Life Strategies from 1998 to 2002, specializing in Life Insurance Consultancy. Jim Liston holds a degree in Actuarial & Financial Studies from University College Dublin, earned between 1991 and 1994.
