Anjan Babu Poudel has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Anjan Babu started their career as an Analyst/Programmer at Just For You Software, where they designed and developed modules for Event Management and CRM software. Anjan Babu also led the rewrite of a legacy Accounting and Business Management System.

Anjan Babu then worked as a Software Engineer at Rojone Pty Ltd, where they designed and developed an asset tracking and security solution. Anjan Babu also developed a low latency Java NIO Server for processing telemetry data from wireless devices installed on fleets.

At Derby Data, Anjan served as a Software Engineer, contributing to various software development projects.

Anjan Babu later joined Viator, where they held multiple roles including Senior Software Engineer, Technical Team Lead, and Principal Software Engineer. During their time at Viator, they designed and developed Java instrumentation libraries and led projects for monitoring and observability. Anjan Babu also worked as an architect and Tech Lead for Viator's Supplier Connectivity Gateway Platform.

Anjan then worked as a Senior Systems Developer at Milestone Group, where they containerized applications and led the adoption of Docker for deployments. Anjan Babu also automated AWS infrastructure provisioning using CDK.

Most recently, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Edstart, where they rewrote Twilio call routing components and re-architected voice call-control flows.

Currently, they are working as a Principal Software Engineer / Technical Lead at Travello, providing technical and domain expertise to teams and handling platform migration and performance optimization.

Throughout their career, Anjan has showcased their expertise in software engineering, architecture, and technical leadership.

Anjan Babu Poudel completed a Masters degree in Information Technology from the University of Ballarat between 2004 and 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from CQUniversity from 2002 to 2003. Anjan Babu also holds an Associate Diploma in Business Management from the Australian Institute of Commerce and Language. Additionally, they have an Associate Diploma of Business Management from Holmes College.
