Laísa Manhães Alves

Laísa Manhães Alves has a wealth of experience in the travel industry. Laísa began their career in 2007 as an Import Shipment Manager for DHL Global Forwarding, where they were responsible for supervising all shipments coming to Flextronics Group in Brazil. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Service Coordinator of Events for MWB Business Exchange, where their duties included providing in-house clients with support and contacting clients prior to events. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Trailfinders as a Sales Coach, Sales Team Leader, and Sales Consultant. From 2013 to 2017, they were the Head of Long Haul Trade Sales and Operations and Performance and Development Manager at Travelopia. Since 2019, they have been the Chief Travel Officer at TravelLocal, where they are responsible for managing relationships with partners, delivering revenue targets, and supporting clients. In 2021, they were promoted to the role of Director of Travel, where they are responsible for ensuring that travel is a source of good for the world.

Laísa Manhães Alves completed their GCE A Level at Colegio Objetivo de Dracena from 2000 to 2002, studying Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Theirtory, Geography, and Languages. Laísa then attended Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a degree in Administration and International Trade.
