Mat Hughes

Mat Hughes is an experienced operations manager with a strong background in the hospitality and retail sectors. Currently serving as Area Operations Manager at Marston's PLC, Mat is responsible for full P&L accountability for a £20 million area of food-led managed pubs, focusing on coaching management teams and implementing creative sales strategies. Previously, Mat worked as District Manager at Travelodge Hotels Limited, overseeing hotel operations and new openings while directly reporting to the CEO as a Shadow Board member.
