Sarah Simmonds McIps

Sarah Simmonds MCIPS has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Sarah currently serves as the Director of Commercial Procurement at Travelodge Hotels Limited, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Sarah worked as the Head of Procurement at Central England Co-operative from April 2020 to April 2022. Sarah also served as the Interim Gnfr Procurement Lead at Poundland & Dealz from September 2019 to April 2020.

Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Purchasing Manager at Barracuda Group from September 2009 to September 2012, where they introduced and developed the procurement function for the food supply chain.

Sarah's career began at Safeway in August 2003, where they worked as a Buyers Assistant. Sarah later joined Mitchells & Butlers, where they held several roles, including Purchasing Manager, Procurement Category Specialist, and Commercial Graduate.

Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated expertise in strategic procurement, cross-functional collaboration, cost reduction, and supply chain optimization. Sarah'sroles have involved leadership, team management, and C-level engagement to achieve performance KPIs and drive business success.

Sarah Simmonds MCIPS completed their business studies degree from the University of Portsmouth in 1999-2003. In 2006-2007, they obtained their MCIPS qualification in procurement from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply. In 2018, Sarah completed Levels 1 & 2 from Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Sarah attended Stretford Grammar School, but no specific dates or degrees were provided for that education.
