Jason Lansell has over two decades of work experience in customer experience, market research, and data analysis. Jason is currently the Director of Customer Experience & Insight at Travelopia since July 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at Travelopia, including Group Head of Customer Insight & Data and Head of Customer Insight & Data for Sunsail and The Moorings.
Before joining Travelopia, Jason worked at Thomas Cook for 20 years, where they held several senior positions. These roles included UK Head of Customer & Market Insight and Head of Customer Insight & Research. At Thomas Cook, they were responsible for leading customer insight strategies, managing international teams, conducting market research projects, and developing clear consumer propositions.
Earlier in their career, Jason worked at Emap Active as a Consumer Research Manager and at Research International as a Senior Research Executive. At Emap Active, they were responsible for research requirements across a portfolio of specialist magazines, while at Research International, they project-managed qualitative and quantitative research projects for IT, Telecoms, and Automotive clients.
Jason started their career at Emap National Publications as an Advertising Research Manager, where they provided insight and analysis to support advertising sales growth for motoring and motorcycling magazines. Jason also supported the Advertising Director in developing growth strategies and writing impactful sales presentations.

Jason Lansell has a Professional Diploma in Management from Loughborough University, completed between 2005 and 2007. Jason also holds a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma from the University of Leicester, completed between 1993 and 1996. In addition, they have obtained multiple certifications in CX Design from City & Guilds, expected to be completed in 2023.
