Janis Dzenis

Janis Dzenis has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Janis is currently serving as the Director of Communications and Public Relations for WayAway since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Aviasales, where they held multiple roles including Head of Public Relations for Eastern Europe & Central Asia, Regional Communications Manager for CIS and APAC, and Public Relations Manager. Janis also worked at Travelpayouts as the Director of Public Relations. Earlier in their career, they were associated with PRT Edelman Affiliate, where they held positions such as Head of Digital Communications Unit and Creative Director.

Janis Dzenis completed a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations/Image Management from Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU) from 2001 to 2006. Later, in 2017 and 2018, Janis pursued further education by completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Public Relations/Image Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Strategic Public Relations & Communication Management degree from the University of Stirling. In 2016, Janis also obtained a certification in Public Relations for Digital Media Specialization from Coursera Course Certificates.
