Alexis G. has extensive experience in commercial development, sales, and legal counsel within the travel and construction sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Commercial Development & Sales Global Operators at Travelport since April 2013, Alexis leads the Operator Channel, representing Travelport in 97 countries. Previous roles at Travelport include Senior Director of Global Operator Channel Performance & Management and Senior Legal Counsel for the Africa, Middle East and South Asia regions. Prior to joining Travelport, Alexis held the position of Legal Counsel at Arabtec Construction LLC, providing comprehensive legal services within the company and its subsidiaries. Early legal career includes roles as an Associate at Clifford Chance and a Legal Consultant at DLA Piper, with a notable secondment at Nakheel, contributing to various high-profile construction projects in Dubai. Alexis holds a BA LLB from UNSW, an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law NSW.
