Declan McGuinness

Declan McGuinness has extensive work experience in the travel industry. Declan has held various senior positions in companies such as Travelport, Travelport Digital, CarTrawler, OpenJaw Technologies Limited, and Ergo. At Travelport, they worked as the Global Head of Solution Sales & Partnerships for Travel Partner Solutions, as well as the Senior Director of Global Accounts. At Travelport Digital, they served as the Head of Digital - Airlines. McGuinness was also the Director of Business Partnerships at CarTrawler. Prior to these roles, they held positions at OpenJaw Technologies Limited, where they served as the SVP Sales, Head of Commercial, as well as the Sales & Marketing Manager. Declan started their career at Ergo as the Sales Director for Software & Services, where they played a crucial role in the company's growth and expansion.

Declan McGuinness has a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Sociology & Social Policy from University College Dublin, which they obtained from 1991 to 1994. Declan also holds a Higher Diploma in International Selling from Technological University Dublin, completed in 2008 and 2009. McGuinness attended the Irish Management Institute in 2011 and completed the Senior Executive Programme. In 2019, they pursued a course in Advanced Negotiation Skills at the Irish Management Institute.
