Melanie Walker

Melanie Walker, CIPP/US, currently serves as Legal Counsel II at Travelport since March 2023. Previously, Melanie held associate positions at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP and Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, where duties included advising clients on compliance with various employment laws and managing case files. A background in judicial analysis was gained during a judicial externship at the North Carolina Supreme Court, and earlier roles included summer internships at Smith, Gambrell & Russell and the Fulton County District Attorney's Office. Melanie's foundational experience in finance was developed as an analyst at Goldman Sachs. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Duke University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from the University of Georgia.
