Sherwood Carter

Vice President - Development at Travelport

Sherwood Carter has a long and diverse work experience in the travel industry. Sherwood started their career in 1977 as Vice President of Airline Development at Travelport GDS, where they worked until joining Worldspan in 2000. At Worldspan, they served as Director of Airline Applications for seven years, before moving to Travelport in 2007. At Travelport, they held various roles, including Senior Director of Airline Applications and Vice President of Development. Their tenure at Travelport lasted until 2010.

Sherwood Carter attended Georgia Southern University from 1972 to 1975, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with majors in Sociology and Biology.
