Lynley Thinnes

Lynley Thinnes has extensive experience in regulatory affairs, starting in 1984. Lynley began their career at Chiron Corporation, where they worked in QA/QC until 1991. From 1991 to 1997, they served as Manager of QA/QC at Applied Immune Sciences. Lynley then joined RPR Gencell in 1992 as a Manager of Regulatory Affairs until 2000. Following that, they worked at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals as a Director of Global Regulatory Affairs from 2000 to 2014. Lynley then joined Pfizer as the WSR Director GRL/US Lead from 2014 to 2017. After that, they served as the Executive Director of Regulatory Affairs at Heron Therapeutics, Inc. from 2017 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Travere Therapeutics.

Lynley Thinnes completed a Bachelor's of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Notre Dame from 1980 to 1984. Prior to that, they attended Radford High School from 1977 to 1980. In addition, they obtained a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society in 1997.
