Manisha Shukla

Manisha Shukla (nee Prasad) is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at European Opportunities Trust Plc since September 2023. Shukla has held the position of Professional Support Lawyer (Investment Funds) at Travers Smith since October 2014 and previously worked in a similar role at Herbert Smith Freehills from June 2010 to October 2014. Prior to that, Shukla was the Head of Legal for the European Investment Funds team at Babcock & Brown between January 2007 and June 2010, and served as a Senior Associate in Investment Funds at Herbert Smith Freehills from September 2000 to December 2006. The professional journey began as a Trainee Solicitor at Andersen Legal C.V. from September 1998 to September 2000. Shukla completed a Bachelor of Laws - LLB Joint Honours in Law and Japanese at Cardiff University after attending Sutton High School GDST from 1986 to 1993.
