Ginger Smith

Ginger Smith is the current Executive Director of Communications at TRAVERSE CITY AREA PUBLIC SCHOOLS. Ginger has previously worked as the Director of Communications at Zeeland Public Schools from July 2012 to July 2021, and as Development & Enrollment at Black River Public School from August 2003 to July 2012. Ginger Smith is a skilled communicator with a passion for education. Ginger has extensive experience in both the public and private sector, and their work has been instrumental in improving the lives of students in their community.

Ginger Smith attended Northern Michigan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations & Marketing.

Ginger Smith works with Mark Bak - Director of Printing, Sandy Low - Director of Finance, and Cindy Berck - Executive Director, Human Resources. Their manager is John Vanwagoner, Superintendent.
