Joseph Kunz

Joseph Kunz serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Travis County Water District 17 since September 2018, having previously held the position of Engineering Program Manager at General Atomics from December 2012 to September 2018, where responsibilities included managing construction projects and program development. Prior to that, Joseph Kunz held various roles in the US Navy, including Reactor Controls Leading Chief Petty Officer aboard USS Nimitz and Nuclear Reactor Operator, where expertise in nuclear reactor safety systems and personnel training was demonstrated. Education includes a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Energy Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University, and an Associate of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Southwestern College.
