Kevin Ward

Kevin Ward has extensive experience in both public safety and municipal management. Currently serving as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Travis County since January 2019, responsibilities include operating specialized construction equipment and participating in county-wide emergency response efforts. In addition, Kevin has held a position on the Board of Directors for the Wells Branch Municipal Utility District since November 2018, overseeing the utility services for over 4,000 residents. Previous roles include Production Manager at SERVPRO of North Central Austin, managing disaster recovery projects, and serving as a Senior Deputy and School Resource Officer within Travis County. Kevin's diverse background also features experience as a semi-truck driver with safety accolades and technical support for nationwide wireless network installations. Educational credentials include certifications in Fire Science, Emergency Medical Services, and Law Enforcement, supplemented by a Commercial Driver's License.
