Bas Vissers has a diverse and extensive work experience in the travel and hospitality industry. Bas started their career in 2000 as a Sales Manager at Accor Hotels, where they later became a Key Account Manager. In 2004, they joined Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts as a Senior Sales Manager.

In 2005, Bas transitioned to BCD Travel, where they held several roles including Product Development Manager, Manager Consulting EMEA, and Director Supplier Relations EMEA. During their time at BCD Travel, they focused on optimizing corporate travel policies and processes, managing annual procurement processes, and developing new products and concepts.

In 2013, Bas joined Easytobook.com as the Director of Supply Management, where they worked on optimizing global supply and content for the company. Bas later moved to Withlocals in 2016, where they took on various roles including CCO, Head of Growth - Geo Expansion, and Chief Partnership Officer. In these positions, Bas was responsible for establishing strategic partnerships, expanding product inventory, and accelerating growth.

Most recently, Bas joined TRAVIS Road Services in 2023 as part of the Strategic Partnerships team.

From 1996 to 2000, Bas Vissers pursued a Bachelor's degree at Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. During this time, they focused on their studies at the Hotel Management School.
