Trent Collins

Trent Collins is a Mechanical Engineer with experience at Traxxas since July 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Connected Autonomous Safe Technologies (CAST), Texas A&M University, from May 2020 to June 2021, where responsibilities involved developing a smart tow hitch for semi-truck platooning, conducting full-scale experiments, and utilizing Simulink and Matlab for system optimization. Additionally, Trent coached children in sports camps at Triumph Sports during the summer of 2018 and worked as a delivery driver and general aid at Besa's Italian Restaurant from August 2016 to June 2017, where duties included payroll preparation and employee training. Trent holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, obtained in May 2021, and is a graduate of L.V. Berkner High School, completed in 2017.
