Shane Cooper

Shane Cooper has extensive experience in financial control and product management within the commodities and banking sectors. Currently serving as Product Controller at Traxys Group since September 2018, Shane is responsible for preparing monthly general ledger reconciliations for Uranium and Aluminum commodities, analyzing P&L variances, streamlining processes through automated spreadsheets, and maintaining accurate accounting records. Prior to Traxys Group, Shane worked at J.P. Morgan from November 2011 to October 2018, holding multiple roles including Associate in Treasury Services Liquidity Product Control. Responsibilities included financial oversight for a significant transaction services balance sheet, month-end close processing, and providing insightful reporting to senior management. Earlier positions include roles in the Equity Capital Markets Product Control Team and a Financial Analyst within the back office. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance/Economics from the University of Delaware.
