Ramon Canas

Ramon Canas has a diverse work experience. Ramon has held various roles in different companies. Ramon served as the Vice President of Technology & Operations at VTR from September 2014 to January 2018, where they were responsible for managing a large staff and overseeing engineering, construction, network maintenance, and more. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Metro de Santiago S.A. where they managed the entire company and a staff of 3,500 people. Ramon also has experience as a CEO at Aguas Chañar S.A., a water utility company. Additionally, they have served on the Board of Advisors for Initiativa and HainTech Solutions, and as a member of the Council for Santiago College. Overall, Ramon Canas has extensive leadership and management experience in various industries.

Ramon Canas has a diverse education history. Ramon started by earning a Bachelor of Sciences in Engineering from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile in 1986. In the same university, from 1982 to 1989, they also obtained a degree in Civil Electrical Engineering. Later, in 2002, they completed an MBA in General Business Management from the Universidad Europea. In 2005, they pursued an MBA in International Business Administration from the Universitat de Lleida. In 2014, Ramon Canas furthered their education by completing an Executive Education program in Organizational Leadership from IMD. Additionally, in the same year, they participated in the Advanced Program for Directors in Corporate Governance at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
