Chris Altman

Chris Altman is a seasoned professional in pharmacy and clinical solutions with expertise in immunization and health plan programs. Currently serving as an APhA/CDC Anthrax Expert Panel Contributor at the APhA Foundation since June 2023, Chris provides insights on pharmacy roles in anthrax preparedness. As a speaker with Pfizer's Vaccines Speaker Bureau since January 2021, valuable education on medicines and health conditions is delivered. Chris has also held positions such as a Pediatric Vaccines Health & Science Professional and Strategic Advisory Board Member at TRC Healthcare since May 2020. Previously, Chris served as Senior Director of Clinical & Health Plan Solutions at Rite Aid, overseeing clinical programs, including immunization initiatives. Chris's career includes roles as Director of Immunization and Clinical Programs and Manager of Field Clinical Services. Chris began the journey in the pharmacy field as an intern at Walmart and Giant Eagle before earning a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University in 2007.
