Gregory Heindel

Gregory Heindel, PharmD, MPH, currently serves as the System Director of Pharmacy for Medication Safety & Therapeutics at UNC Health, a position held since August 2017. With a strong focus on medication management, safety, and optimization, Gregory has also held roles including Clinical Manager and Interim System Director of Pharmacy. In addition to contributions at UNC Health, Gregory is the Residency Program Director for Medication-Use Safety and Policy at UNC Hospitals and serves as a Content Researcher and Writer for TRC Healthcare. Previous experience includes positions as a Drug Information Specialist at Intermountain Health and pharmacy residency roles at UNC Hospitals and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Gregory earned a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Wilkes University.
