Matthew Wetherbee, MSc., RPA has a comprehensive work experience in the field of cultural resources and archaeology. Matthew currently works as the Cultural Resources Lead - West Coast/Principal Investigator at TRC Companies, Inc. since December 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Principal Investigator at Stell from July 2017 to November 2018. Matthew held the position of Senior Archaeologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants from July 2016 to July 2017. Matthew also worked as a Senior Archaeologist at ESA Environmental Consultants from October 2008 to July 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Archaeologist at Stantec from October 2005 to December 2008, and at CRM TECH from May 2004 to October 2005.
Matthew Wetherbee, MSc., RPA pursued their education in a chronological manner. Matthew began their studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology in 2000. Following this, they engaged in a study abroad program at The American University in Cairo from 1999 to 2000, focusing on Egyptology and Egyptian archaeology. Lastly, in 2002 to 2003, Matthew attended UCL and achieved a Masters of Science in Palaeoecology of Human Societies, specializing in Archaeology.
