Carlos Gil

Carlos Gil has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the biomedical field. Carlos started their own company, Gil Biomedical LLC, in 2019 and served as the founder. Carlos later retired from this role in November 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Director R&D at Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. from 2015. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as the Executive Director of Product Manager at OrthoSensor, Inc. Carlos also served as a Senior Manager at Medtronic Spine & Biologics from 2002 to 2010. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Spinal Dynamic, Wright Medical Technology, and Smith & Nephew, specializing in product development and engineering roles.

Carlos Gil received a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology/Technician from The University of Memphis in 1986.
