Kristi Gandy

Kristi Gandy has a strong background in quality assurance and engineering, with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Kristi most recently held the role of Senior Director of Quality and Product Advancement Engineering at Treace Medical Concepts, Inc., starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Quality Assurance at the same company from January 2021 to October 2022. Before joining Treace Medical Concepts, Inc., Kristi worked at Zimmer Biomet as an Engineering Manager from January 2017 to June 2019. Kristi also spent over a decade at Biomet Microfixation, where they held the position of Senior Engineer from 2006 to 2017.

Kristi Gandy holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they obtained from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2005. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at Texas A&M University from 1996 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained a Certified Project Management Professional qualification from the Institute of Project Management and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University. Recently, in June 2020, Kristi obtained an ASQ Certified Medical Device Auditor certification from ASQ - World Headquarters.
