Stephanie Kakes Smith

Stephanie Kakes Smith has extensive experience in both the insurance claims industry and animal welfare. Currently serving as a Quality Assurance & Regulatory Supervisor at Trean Corporation since January 2010, Stephanie audits claims files to ensure exceptional outcomes for injured workers while managing the Salt Lake office. In addition, Stephanie volunteers as a Coordinator at Ruff Haven Crisis Sheltering and has been involved with Rescue Rovers Dog Adoption since June 2013, focusing on marketing, fundraising, and community outreach. Past roles include Claims Supervisor at S&C Claims Services Inc and Zenith Insurance, as well as leadership positions in various insurance organizations, including President of the Utah Claims Manager Association and President of the Insurance Professionals of Salt Lake City. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and multiple insurance-related certifications.
