Bryan Redden is an Environmental Planner at St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners since January 2022, previously serving as a Substitute Teacher for the School Board of Indian River County. Bryan gained valuable experience as a CivicSpark Fellow with the California Department of Water Resources, focusing on building capacity and water resiliency for Tribal Governments and disadvantaged communities. Additional roles include Sustainability Fellow at the UVI Research and Technology Park and various Graduate Research Assistant positions at the University of Michigan, where Bryan contributed to ecological data management and conducted qualitative research. Bryan's background also includes tutoring as part of America Reads*America Counts and hands-on experience in invasive species management with the National Park Service. Bryan holds a Master of Science in Environmental Policy & Planning from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s Degree in Forest Management from the University of Florida.
